Eclipse Moons Bite....Watch Yourself

Thinking about doing a ritual for the Blood Moon? Here’s the scoop: eclipse energy isn’t really about heavy effort—it’s more about surrendering and riding the wave. This moon is a powerful reset button, a moment to release and renew.

Simple is best: take a calming bath, breathe deeply, or sit quietly in front of a white candle. Let the quiet glowing light guide your reflection. The core theme of this moon? Let it go. Release what no longer serves you and create space for new beginnings.

Feeling adventurous? If you want to dip your toes into a little chaos magic. I got you - just don't make any moon water or charge your crystals. The universe is amoral, the energy is what the energy is.

Full Moon Release Ritual
Materials Needed:

  • A small piece of paper and a pen
  • A fire-safe dish or bowl
  • Matches or a lighter
  • Calm music or silence

Steps:

  1. Preparation: Find a quiet, comfortable space outdoors or near a window where you can see the moon. Set up your space with your materials nearby.
  2. Center Yourself: Take a few deep breaths to relax and connect with the energy of the full moon. Feel the lunar light shining down on you, filling you with clarity and intention.
  3. Reflect: Think about what you want to release — old fears, negative patterns, emotional baggage, anything holding you back.
  4. Write: On the small piece of paper, write down what you wish to let go of. Be as specific as you like. (Not dreams - what shit you want gone).
  5. Set Intentions: As you finish writing, hold the paper in your hands and affirm silently or aloud, “I release what no longer serves me. I welcome clarity, healing, and new beginnings.”
  6. Burn: Carefully light the paper using matches or a lighter, and place it into the fire-safe dish or bowl. Watch it burn completely, visualizing the release of whatever you wrote.
  7. Closing: Once the paper has burned, take a moment to reflect and ground yourself.
