The only thing that stays the same is that everything is constantly in flux. I think someone said that once, either way it is true. I've had a few hiccups in the publishing process, but it pays to be adaptable. I've had months of rewrites, a publisher closing and a minor mental breakdown. Regardless, my stories will be told, the characters demand it. It's meant to happen, and therefore it will. I'm using all the tools at my disposal, perseverance, spells, divination and delulu.
